- Other Info He ran off in the early hours of the morning just before a big thunder/lightning storm. He will have been very distressed, but otherwise he is a very friendly and affectionate dog. Update - he'd managed to walk about 8 miles through woods and an electrical storm...amazing! He was found by a farming family who kindly took him to the nearest vets practice in Helmsley. We heard via a friend on FB about this and called the vets. Sure enough, it was Buster. What a relief!! Many thnx to all involved.
