- Great to see "Dave" looking so good now and found a new forever loving home. Enjoy each other which I'm sure they will.
- 2015-04-28 11:46 Unknown
- Thanks Viv B

- The Daily Mail article has a video taken presumably by one of the finders who reported the dogs - looks like they were found on a small country road.
- 2015-04-28 08:21 Unknown
- Me too VivB was there cctv where they were dumped?
- 2015-04-28 00:07 Viv B
- So good to see Dave as a happy, loved dog.

- What a lovely photo in the Daily Mail. Dave the poodle cross has a huge smile and I think he's landed on his paws with the new owner.

The people who dumped these dogs in such bad condition NEED to be caught.

- I've seen further footage and although they keep saying Poodle 'crosses' they still look like Standard Poodles to me, far more than anything else. Also being said is that it's an 8 year old bitch and her 8 x year old pups.

- Agree with Sheltie lover, dogs could have come from anywhere. The coats were caked in mud and I've seen a picture of a vet shaving a dog who they've called Shaun. I hope mud nearest skin is taken away and analized to see which areas it could have come from. Seems these are all "poodle type" dogs so I assume Doodles etc.Last edited: 2015-01-22 14:20:20 by Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

- Thank goodness now their suffering has ended and they will get homes that deserve them.

- Heartbreaking to see those poor dogs. I hope someone knows something and the people are brought to justice, these cruelly treated dogs need a voice and that is the kind people on Doglost. I am too willing to donate to a Justgiving page if one is set up. X

- As a Standard Poodle owner I'm heartbroken seeing these as they look SO much like Standard Poodles. I've passed on the articles to a breeder in Hampshire in the hope she may know something and have asked she also passes on my email to other breeders. It's a pretty small breeding pool so hopefully whoever did this can be caught. Whoever did this MUST be prosecuted. Shame on them.

- Perhaps these lowlife will be picked up by cctv; registration number maybe?

- Cruel doesnt even cover this, so upsetting, that anyone could want to let this happen. Poor poor dogs, please let them have a loving future!!

- Is there any security cameras on local houses or cc tv enroute to areas where they were dumped? Worth checking to see if vehicle was picked up on them.
- 2015-01-22 08:38 Happiness yorkie lover xxx
- The thing is they could have been dumped there by locals and with the intention of people believing that they have been dumped there from another area x I'm TOTALY disgusted and hope the scum are brought to justice x
- 2015-01-22 08:30 Willow Dood
- I'm speechless - how could anyone let these poor animals get into this state? At least they are being cared for now and they will be scanned for microchips. I do so hope that these poor dogs will soon be reunited with their rightful owners and that they can resume their lives again within their loving families.

- These dogs were dumped in my area - They could have come from anywhere - travelled along M3 or M4 - the into the countryside, all areas dumped they were dumped in are rural with narrow lanes. If anyone was travelling near Upham, Morestead Road, near Winchester, Owlesbury or Alresford - overnight 20th-21st Jan and saw anything suspicious please inform the Police. All these dogs were lucky not to have been run over. To see the area they were left in Google Winchester and surrounding area.

- I am speechless. I hope the scum who have done this are found and quickly ... I dread to think that they may be holding more dogs. What is this world we are living in?

Ids 60714,60715,69583.
Can't believe they were so close to home. They are in kennels and being treated is all that I could find out yesterday. Can't sleep till I know more. - 2015-01-22 00:30 Chewitt1969
- John@BiggsD, are you able to set up a just giving page as that might encourage donations. I'm happy to contribute £25.

- If and when the culprits are found lets hope they get a prison sentence however small so that the other prisoners (preferably big rugby players) are informed of what they have done.

- Times like this I realise why I love animals more than most people x
- 2015-01-21 22:15 BMdevon
- You can barely recognise them as dogs :( Odd that they were dumped where they would be found. I wonder if they've been used for breeding and if so if they can track back through for sale ads in the area. If I was working on this case I'd leave no stone unturned :( Heartbreaking but they're hopefully going to have a great life from now on.

- Oh my word. How can people sleep at night. I hope they end up in the same mess when they are older! As I keep saying, The Lord doesn't pay his debts in money!! They will get what is coming to them, hope it will be soon x
- 2015-01-21 21:29 AlisonH
- Such dreadful news that they were just dumped to fend for themselves but I am so pleased that they were as now they will have a chance to live a happy and comfortable life with someone who will show them the love and kindness they deserve. Just hope the people who did this to them will be caught and brought to justice.
