  • Marks & Scars A body, small dog has been found at sandy bay Porthcawl near the lifeguard station. Unfortunately it must have been there for a while. There is some white fur leading the person who found it to think it might be a westie. BCBC has been contacted about it.

The poor things body is in storage waiting for someone to claim it. No chip was found and if not claimed it will be buried in a pet cemetery.if you want to enquire about it you can get in touch with Bridgend county borough council, I think the number to phone about dead animals is 01656 643443.

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
