Was just about to e.mail my free weekly paper where Rosie`s lost ad. appears from time to time in the B76 area. Her last missing ad. was 4th Jan 2013. At the time there was a query with the telephone number; presume okay now. Great that she has her photo on doglost now. Little Pooch Dog? Hope fb or/and Twitter brings a positive result for Rosie`s return to her owner. Paws, and fingers xd.

Blue Cross are rehoming a YT bitch - although age is described as much older there is a very strong resemblance? Blue Cross reference 119073 - could this possibly be Rosie??

I would suggest a door to door flyer drop in the neighbourhood of Rosie's home, asking everyone to check their gardens and sheds. It's easy for a teacup yorkie to go unnoticed if she is sheltering in gardens.

I have just put Rosie's details on my twitter and facebook, really hope she is found soon x

added photo's of Rosie, first one shows her unclipped the second shows what she would look like if clipped!

You don't happen to have a copy of this with his phone number on do you?
Unknown
Rosie was actually in my local paper this week, as still missing. I phoned the number stated (Not the one on here) and a gentleman said he was acting in the ladies interest, as she is elderly. The advert stated that there would be a £1000 reward for her safe return, and no questions asked. Paws, and fingers xd for a happy oputcome for Rosie, and her owner.

Tried to contact owner but no reply.

Do we have a photo of the dog yet? I will print off some of the posters and put them up around lichfield area..but a photo would help greatly.

It did say Uttoxeter originally but when I double checked with the owner, she said she was from Rugeley not Uttoxeter. I will sort it out. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Gaynor
Think there is some confusion about the location with this one? ST14 definitely isn't Rugeley area as indicated above, it's Uttoxeter/Rocester which is about 18 miles away.

Owner has contacted DW, vets, Enviomental Services, asked dog walkers, handed out flyers, postered etc. There is an ad in the paper tonight but the photo is missing so she is contacting the paper again asking them to do another one with photo in. I have advised local radio and also to contact Enviromental Services again as she only contacted them on the day she went missing. There are no railway lines or motorways close by.

Owner is not computer literate, so I have asked for her friend to call me with email address, so I can send Info and Advice sheet and ask for a photo.

Sorry to see that ROSIE is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (38978)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
