- Other Info taking him and other dogs for a walk in the school at around 2.30am monday morning, took our eyes off him for a few seconds, and he had gone. checked and still checking all the streets and all covering fields around Cefn Glas area but no luck. picture added is a bit old. he has grown since so he would be more lanky and a skinny looking structure, but still has the same markings.

- So very sorry to hear this sad news. I don't know why these things happen and I have no answers but I have to trust there is a reason. I lost my dog in the same way, so I understand. Please know he would not have suffered. Shadow is now safe in the arms of God watching over you until you are reunited, never to be parted again. God bless you Shadow and your loved ones. x
Sadly too many dogs are being lost to trains, but trains are near rivers and rivers are in fields/parks. Also, even if dogs are not lost there, the distance some dogs run can take them near a railway line even if only for a water supply i.e. the river. Extremely sad. Thank you those who notified Shadow's owners, at least they have closure, although not much consolation now. But, it is far better to know than to always worry where your baby is. - So very sorry for your sad loss. Sadly another railway victim. Can I just say to other members please, please keep your dogs on leads near busy roads or railway lines. Some years ago I nearly lost my boxer dog to an RTA. Thankfully two kind workman saved him before he was hit. Please dont let it REALLY happen to your pet. I was lucky, you might not be. This happened near Alum Rock, If the workman are still around then THANK YOU.

- Sorry to have to report that Shadow was hit by a train and killed. His body wasn't in a good state so looks like it happened not long after he went missing. RIP young fella.
