On Alfie's lost dogs there is a Labrador that has been found in Newcastle. It doesn't say whether it's male or female though. Newcastle is only an hour and a half (roughly) away from Wigan. The photo is too small to really see, but it's worth checking out to see if it's Lucy.Last edited: 2010-12-13 23:17:52 by Radar Ears

Thankyou thats really gud advice nina, and thanks Meru xx
This might be a sill suggestion but what about making up a board on a post (like the student protesters use) with your dogs picture on it and walk or stand in a busy place for maximum public attnetion. Better still get a loud hailer as well and let everyone know. This might bring media attention. Rope in friends and family to and hand out missing dog leaflets. This is going to be the busiest two weeks of the year for people being out and about to see what you are doing. Good luck.
I live in the WN2 area - will keep a look out - hope she's home very soon xx

hi, yeah i know the wn2 area well very close to mine, yes she will come to her name, she is quite boundy and would jump up at you and still very much a puppy in nature. The collar is a dark green waighnwright collar, no name tag i didnt put it on her new collar, im kicking myelf for it now. Her markings are quite distinctive on her chest and she is a very quite dog, hardly barks unless she see's people she likes and is really soft with children and ther dogs
is lucy wearing a collar if so which colour?? and does she have a name tag is so what type??? try leigh cats and dogs home too thats where they go if picked up they keep the dogs seperate from the others for the first seven days so be sure to ask at the desk they are very helpful staff xx
dont have access to a printer at the minute but will keep our eyes out we're in wn2 area. does lucy come to her name??? good luck i've just got my stolen puppy back so i know how your feeling xxx
The police have been contacted and we have a crime ref no. Lucy was taken out of the back gate approx 8 - 8.30 as she was let out at 8 then a neighbour saw her minutes after then another neighbour noticed her missing around 8.30 ish. There are 2 sets of footprints leading lucy away from the garden. Lucy would have put up a struggle so we are hoping someone would have noticed. Posters will be put up in the area tonight and hopefully there may be CCTV footage. Fingers crossed
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Poster e mailed out to helpers in WN 1,2,3,4,5.
