Fantastic news. Owner is going up to Edinburgh to collect him tomorrow. Another long journey, but it will be worth it to get Shumma home where he belongs. Wondering about his wee coat too. Perhaps someone had taken him in over the weekend and either turned him out again or he escaped for him not to have his coat on when he was picked up by the dog warden. Stay safe now Shumma. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks, thats where I thought it was, there is an army ta centre just on the corner (east claremont street and claremont crescent), might be worth phoning/emailing them poster - heres the link http://www.tanearyou.org.uk/unitdetails.php?id=125 Its such a built up area you'd think someone has taken him in, also loads of shops/businesses nearby, great that you have other help though. Fingers crossed he's home soon x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It's off East Claremont Street and near Broughton Road if that helps? I don't know the area, just taking the info from Multimap. Thanks for your help. We have people checking the area, rescues, poliice, dog wardens, vets etc. Hopefully he'll turn up when everywhere is open tomorrow. No news today though.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I shall have a drive round area tomorrow before work and possibly after depending on weather, still really cold up here with over a foot of snow buts its milder today so hopefully a thaw on the way. Just checking area - is this Claremont Crescent which is of Bellevue/Rodney Street? Hope this wee lamb is found soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This wee dog is a yorkshire terrier x papillon. He looks really cute. I hope someone has picked him up and taken him in, until he will be re-united with his owner. He is a long way from home, but hopefully his microchip will help him to be identified.   Debra,  I am so sorry that your Sarafina  is still missing. I really hope you get some good news very soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I am just looking at the latest missing dogs and saw this little guy. My dog is missing also. Anyway, I see he is down as a terrier mix. He looks like a Maltese, I have had two Maltese's in the past and they are wonderful little dogs. Usually very friendly. I hope you get him back quickly. Good luck. He will be in  my prayers with my Sarafina.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have called owner and offered advice. The dog went missing in Edinburgh but owner lives in South England. Sent poster to Scottish rescues, which cover Edinburgh. All vets have been informed. I am sure someone will have taken this wee one in and will be handing him in after the weekend.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
