Jess thank you so much for the update and lovely text.  Our aim is to help owners get them in the blue and you did everything suggested most importantly you got out spread the word to bring the sightings in.  Power to the to chip once again, this has been the best present you gave him.  Will be thinking about him and we know he will soon get better especially with being back with his family.  Give him an extra hug and cuddle from everyone on DL.  When you have a chance we would love to have a reunited pic to add to his page.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a terrible 28 hours. Eddie was found this afternoon under a bush in a garden near the sighting yesterday. He has been dragged by a car we think and this has caused a lot of damage on his back legs, some tendons are cut and he has little skin left. He is currently on morphine so has crashed out in his bed. The RSPCA inspector was brilliant as were the emergency team who dealt with him. Most of all thanks to Doglost and Jan, the support and advice I received was invaluable and it was great that I didn't have to think about making the posters - we posted around 400 fliers and several posters. If he hadn't been chipped we wouldn't have him back so I can't express how important it is to get dogs chipped. We never thought we would need it. Thanks again everyone invloved. Jessbee, thanks for the text and posting an update.  Great you have had a sighting.  You have done a brill job getting out there with the posters, even though it was very late last night and it has paid off now.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Various size posters, further advice/info emailed to owner.  Have given advice on what to do if they see him and also emailed Scenting/Mapping instructions in case required.  Better photo also received and uploaded.  Good luck to his family who are doing a brilliant job and look forward to seeing him in the blue soon.  Jan x If anyone is able to help with the postering can you please let us know and they can be emailed to you.  Thanks.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Circumstances rcvd via text: He got out of our garden into next door's and their gate was open. We think a firework went off and scared him because he got through a large cat flap. Never been out on his own since we rescued him from dogs trust 4 years ago.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
