I am so very sorry to hear of this. Having lost my own dog in Doncaster during the summer, and spending 5 agonising weeks searching for her, I am well qualified to know how you must be feeling. I have e mailed friends and family in Doncaster and passed on the details. I personally found the Doncaster Star and Doncaster Free Press very helpful. I live in London and was only visiting Doncaster when my own dog went missing, you have a story too in that Dixie has come from Spain, I suggest that you contact both newspapers and see if you can gain their interest. I cannot stress enough the importance of postering, but also carry smaller pocket sized flyers and distribute these to every person you meet and flyer every letterbox in the neighbourhood. I wish you every success and hope that you find her very soon. x

Dixie dissapeared during a walk. Her owners have searched for her and have been returning to the area she was last seen in. Some postering has been done and also dogwardens and stray kennels informed. DIXIE HAS BEEN WITH HER OWNERS FOR 2 YEARS NOW  AND WAS RESCUED BY HER OWNER IN SPAIN AS A STRAY. They recently returned to live in Doncaster where they have now been living for 5 weeks. Dixie is regularly walked in the area she was lost in and it is hoped she would know her way home but at the same time she has only been there for 5 weeks. Dixies has a Spanish microchip but her owners have informed petlog she is missing and they say the details have been switched over to her Uk contact details. Hoping for some news of this lovely girl very soon xx Pam
