- Update from family via Kinlochleven - Past and Present:
"A huge thank you to all the people in Kinlochleven and the surrounding area who have been searching for our missing border terrier Yeshe.
The remarkable news is that after 20 days out on the hills she has been found by a young couple who were camping at Coire an Lochain .
We were so touched by the kindness shown by the community who helped in so many ways.
We shall certainly be back walking in the area soon, although the dog will be well and truly on her lead!"
Also from family via Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK:
"A Christmas miracle! Yeshe was found after 20 days roaming in the mountains. We were at 300m when she ran off. She was 5 miles away and at 800m by the frozen Coire an Lochan when she was found! Two remarkable young students were camping on their way to climb Binnein Beag. At 1am they heard Yeshe scavenging outside their tent. She was very weak and dehydrated. She's probably lost about 1/3 of her body weight. The couple abandoned their climb and carried Yeshe for about 3 miles in the dark back to Kinlochleven. We were reunited this afternoon. Sophie Leatherbarrow has been an incredible support and inspiration throughout this ordeal."Last edited: 2021-12-20 00:30:19 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2021-12-19 22:17 Charlotte Watson

- Yeshe was found by some winter campers sniffing round their pots. We are not sure exactly where yet but yes, Owl, she survived through atrocious weather: torrential rain, snow and ice. Last edited: 2021-12-28 11:50:18 by Pod

- Quite a few people out walking today to look for Yeshe where she went missing. There has been no sign at all. Would it be possible to send posters out to adjacent postcodes please Doglost as if she has travelled it is a long way before she comes across any people or houses. The route leads to a remote loch and a remote reservoir Last edited: 2021-12-06 13:34:29 by Pod
