Oh so pleased Susie is back home, this one has been bothering me and I had to keep checking to see if she was home. Poster poster poster is my mantra and they are so effective. Pleased for the owners too, they must be so relieved.

Susie's relieved owners collected her today from a local rescue, she had been through the stray kennels system and for some reason her tattoo was not picked up or not readable, luckily a local rescue had a space for her or the story may have been very different for her family. Her whereabouts were pinpointed by a member of public who had seen both a missing poster and a found poster in 2 villages about 5 miles apart and put owners and finders in contact with each other. So well done to that person - POSTERS again do the trick Susie was sleeping off her adventure and sticking to mum like glue, both were very happy.

Thank you Doglost (especially Sandy) for all your help so far and for the poster which is much better than the one I started with.  Susie is still missing but I am exploring all avenues suggested to me so thanks also to labrador lil and our local Dog Warden for their suggestions.

Hi there. Can you ask the owners to contact Annabel at Ardley Rescue Kennels. She is local rescue and not far from where this dog has escaped. She usually gets to hear about any strays. Number is 01869 346307

I have spoken with owners Susie escaped through the front door which had been left open by workmen, She was gone for 2 hours before the owners were alerted.She had by this time been spotted crossing the A44 Dual Carriage way heading towards the Turnpike Pub, She was rescued from Fence wire by the chef from the pub but as soon as she was free of the wire bolted again and has not been seen since. Owners are postering and photo should be on site soon.
