“ Lola 2 years on…

It’s hard to believe it’s been 2 years since Lolas disappearance. Those initial few minutes of, “oh she’s around somewhere” to “where is she” and the frantic calling of her name, whistling and looking in every conceivable place at home and around the garden and surrounding fields. To painfully scouring the verges and hedgerows along the neighbouring roads looking for any traces of where she could have gone.

There have been hoax calls, nuisance calls. Sightings which resulted in nothing, follow ups on possible “Lola’s”, postering, leafleting, local media interviews… and so it goes on.

You are all our eyes and ears, you are all so overwhelmingly supportive, not just to us and Lola but to so many others who are also wracked by these terrible circumstances with their own pets. So thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and being so committed.

We know you’re out there Lola, there have been some lovely reunited stories and I only hope that one day it’s us and you come home. #returnlolahome — with Lydia Alexandra Rampin.”
