Patch is now safely with extended family awaiting his owners.

Patch has been secured at location awaiting transport from family.

Will reunite once he is safely away. Owner will update with phonecall and photos later.

We have all sighted Patch in relevant location this evening. He will not be caught by just anyone so seeking permissions to set up a trap.

Volunteers have met owners and been out postering and setting up stations and urine trails this evening. Caretaker of school fully appraised and local police officers spoken to - they will take a poster back to Newbury Police Station who cover the area.

Just informed of a further possible sighting in same location timed 15:00hrs. This area has been postered and owner going back out this evening and first thing.

Patch is nervous of loud noises and an outdoor event is being held close to where sighted this evening and again from 14:00hrs tomorrow - Estate and Security there aware and have a poster.

Imperative all sightings are phoned direct - Patch is nervous of people also so may not be easily caught.

Patch has been sighted at 09:45 Close to relevant location. He is a NERVOUS dog (of people, loud noises, traffic) and should not be approached. Flooding the area may force him out of it and into hazards.

A clothing (with whom most bonded with) drop and feeding station has been suggested to owner in a quiet location and to be nearby with familiar sound of his engine running.

Volunteer en route, further support with posters will be available later today.

In touch with owner, Berkshire team fully aware and arranging local volunteers to assist later. Patch lives in Burghfield Common and unfamiliar with the area he is lost in. Last sighted in a field which was searched by owner til late last night. Scenting advice given, relevant agencies contact details passed on (including Network Rail and Highways) Warden and chip company aware
