- Yes lovely to see this boy being found after all those months Ellie messaged me last night thanking me for letting her know of the sighting as she and Steve had no idea of this at all 🙂luckily I have been in contact with Ellie since Rex escaped and could get the message to her asap on Sunday night .. 💙🐾xx

- We are all so grateful to the help we had from the two farmers and the quad guys and girls that have been keeping us updated since the first sighting in Oct. Yesterday morning we were contacted to say he'd been seen in the field by the farm for the first time since last October. The farmers acted really quickly by getting the trap out straight away. We never thought he'd go straight in. Brilliant news to wake up to this morning.

- From Rex's facebook page: Rex was spotted on the llangynidr mountain back in October of last year, but in an area which was impossible to get to.
Although a lot has been going on behind the scenes he's not been sighted since untill yesterday when he travelled down the mountain to a nearby farm and fields.
Due to the exceptional help off two of the local farmers who set a trap last night which caught rex this morning and to Ashlin Thomas for not only spotting rex back in October but keeping us updated with any sightings, to going back over today to collect, scan and bring rex back to merthyr safely, rex is on his way home.
He looks extremely well considering he's been out and surviving for over 7 months.
However without the help of the farmers and Ashlin Thomas none of this would have been possible. They have our eternal gratitude for all they've done to get Rex home - 2020-01-20 17:52 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
