Could Oscar be the Found dog in Co Wicklow, Eire in the Found section? Very similar looking and lots of Irish tinkers come over to the West Country.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have just had my jrt returned after seven days away with no sightings and I was sure he had been taken by travellers as they too had just been passing for a funeral. But I put over a hundred posters up shops ,cash machines, pubs, youth clubs, schools and he eventually got brought back he was too hot to handle. He's so cute someone has probably taken him in phoned the police who really are not interested and thought he's too nice to take to kennels and they just need to see your posters so get out there and cover every corner, you'll get him back, good luck x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Oscar well. Stay safe Oscar until you are home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have just had the Great Dorset Steam Fair from the 29th Aug-2nd Sept, if he has been stolen then he could be anywhere so will keep an eye out for all posible matches no matter how far away. This event whilst attracting many genuine enthusiasts attracts rather too many of the wrong kind, as anyone who lives here will tell you........message from helper. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
