Pleased Sabrin a is doing so well. A friend of mine whilst out walking once saw a Springer behind some trees running and dashing about like there was no tomorrow; when the Springer Spaniel came into full view, my friend was absolutely amazed to see that this dog had only three legs. Sending more cuddles to Sabrinaxxxx

I always remember something a vet said on a tv programme once: God gave dogs four legs, three to use every day and one as a spare. Good luck lovely Sabrina, so pleased youre home.xx

Poor puppy. How desperately sad she looked when being rescued - how glad she must have been to have seen her rescuers. I'm so pleased she's back home. xx
Unknown
Apparently Sabrina's owner owned a 3 legged dog before that lived to be 17.

So very pleased to see that you have got her back and I'm sure she's going to be just fine. Seen lots of dogs in my time especially at the Queen Elizabeth Hosp for Animals at Potters Bar with 3 legs and have enjoyed life just as much as their 4 legged friends. Lots of TLC.
Kathy

The poor poor girlie, but So very lucky to have survived - and yes, she will be slowed down, but will hopefully soon learn to cope with her disability. Nasty bloody trains.

This is fantastic news that Sabrin a has been found, albeit having to have her back leg amputated, and losing her paw. I am reliably informed that dogs (And cats) can cope well with 3 legs. (Perhaps dog owners on this site have had experience with 3 legged animals). Anyway Sabrina am sending you absent healing for your speedy recovery, and loads and loads of pats and kisses from me.XXXXXXXXXXXX To Kate and her Mum I would like to send them my very best wishes, and am so pleased you have been reunited with Sab rina. Please keep us posted on her progress. GET WELL SOON SABRINA.
Vizsla55

Sabrina was found this morning on the tracks by Winson Green, she had lost a paw and was curled up in a ball, she is very thin but she is at the vets at the moment and will have to have her leg amputated. Vet said she has been very lucky to survive. Kate will send us some photos when she is feeling better.
B30
Message sent to owner as Sabrina may have been found.

Apparently microchip is BOLIVIAN and may not be read by some scanners.

Still circulating on twitter + have sent link to @BhamDogsHome

Had email from owner:- so have phoned Birmingham City Council, but they wouldn't speak to me because I didn't have a reference number. Spoke to Kate's secretary who had phoned the council previously and she wasn't given a reference number, so she is phoning them again. Kate wants to make sure DW is fully aware of the situation regarding Sabrina. Have suggested that waterways are called and also Highways Agency.
Kate
Still no news. Can anyone who has seen her please get in touch, we miss her so much...
Unknown
No news at present on Sabrina. Trains are going slowly through the tunnels (thank you Railtrack) but if she came out she could have ended up by the NEC and the canals. Fingers xd she is safe.
Unknown
Spoke to Kate, she was seen at 3.30pm yesterday on the platform, Kate is waiting for BDH to open to see if she is there.
