Oh so pleased to see Sally in the blue and that she was not seriously injured. A big thankyou to the farm people and to all who postered.

I am so, so pleased! I've been really worried about this poor girl & really feared the worst when I couldn't find her on the pink page! I'm absolutely thrilled that she is safely back with her family & that her injuries are not as serious as feared. Good luck with you recovery sweet Sally & stay safe xxxx

Sally is home! She walked into a farm situated about 5 miles from Ilfracombe yesterday. The farmer's partner recognised her from all the posters, and the owners travelled back down last night to collect her. They are travelling home today with her, having stayed over at the farm. Sally has several superficial injuries to her back leg, but thankfully the vet can't find anything serious. She has lost a huge amount of weight, so I am sure that she is in for a foodfest celebration, and lots of TLC. Well done to all, and a special thankyou to the farmer, who with her calm, quiet manner and gentle voice, coaxed Sally to come to her.

Photo cropped to bring her closer and reloaded to show up on her poster. Keeping everything crossed she is found soon and back home with her family. Good luck. xxx

Poor Sally. I keep thinking about her & what an awful situation she is in. Her owners must be beside themselves with worry. I really hope that she is caught & can get the treatment for her injuries. Let's just hope that well-wishers see sense & do what's best for Sally. Everything crossed that this lovely girl is safe very soon.

Sally has been spotted recently by a paperboy on his early morning round. She is limping badly on a back leg. Sally's owners have now returned home, but they are desperately worried as there have been reports of people on Facebook rushing to the area to try and catch her. Sally is extremely nervous, and this will only make her run away to another area. Owners have advised the local person helping them to set up a feeding station, and allow her the space to come and feed without threat, and to gain confidence. If they can do this, there is a chance of catching her. Having swarms of people flooding the area, shouting her name, will only serve to destroy any hope of getting hold of her.

Sally's owners are down on holiday. They haven't had Sally very long at all. She has just finished racing, and is an exceptionally timid, nervous dog. Sally was frightened by a bang whilst walking in Ilfracombe high street, she yanked the lead out of her owner's hand and bolted. She collided with several vehicles before bolting off into the distance. That was 5 days ago, and there has been no sign of her since then. Eyewitnesses have offered varying reports on
how serious the collisions were, so the owners are at this stage unsure as to the scale of her injuries. They have
searched and searched, but have been hampered, day and night, by heavy rain. Their other dog has not, so far, been able to pick up a trail. Their holiday ends tomorrow, and they are hoping that local people will continue the search as they are desperate for closure. Have advised, and would be pleased to hear from anyone in that area able to help.

I too have sent advice, as Ilfracombe is only just over the border from Cornwall, so much of the specifically Cornish info will be relevant. Better to have too much, than not enough! Would appreciate a clearer picture, if possible, please.

Email sent offering advice and asking for circumstances. I hope she is found soon.
