Brook is a very lively spaniel and enjoys the countryside. We live at our own equestrian centre with fields of our own. Brook would often roam for many hours at a time never getting tired, she could catch and kill rabbits all day long which had become her obsession that we could not control. She has never chased livestock. Our land is next to National Trust land so Brook had a vast area she knew. Unfortunately we have had an equine disagreement with the Nation Trust and I would not be sure if my dog has been picked up by this organisation. Th manager of Land Barn Farm is aware my dog has gone but in the past has told me my dog is a nuisance. In the past my dogs have gone missing but have arrived home very happy the next day but I do not know who had them. I also have a small terrier cross she came back the evening Brook went missing, our dogs are well known to local walkers. My small terrier only wandered off with Brook but never on her own. Brook has a strong hunting instinct and was able to make our little terrier go with her. the terrier does not wander now she is without her partner. Brook has always been a free spirit I have not given up on her, she is very fit and often mistaken for a puppy. In the last 2 years she has had three operations on her ears to correct cauliflower ears caused by high energy, there are no scars.
