Thank you Puddies for looking out for Demon, the found dog has now been re-united x
Puddies
There is a husky called Demon that has been found, worth having alook on the found pages for 17/6 as markings look similar, although yours has more white on forehead and im not sure how much markings change as they get olderxLast edited: 2011-06-18 09:29:53 by Puddies

Sadly there has been no news of Demon, but I know the owner's are still searching and spreading the word. They have replaced a lot of the original posters for new one's to show that he is still missing.

Advertised in The Countryman's Weekly magazine. I hope it brings some news.
Radar Ears
Phoenix 57, I have just been reading the posts and was just going to say the same myself.
If it is true, the dog should be removed from her, she sounds like a peculiar person.
Phoenix57
I hope someone is going to report the woman who has Demon's brother if what she said is true. She can't go round causing him physical injury because he jumped up (or any other reason)!! I hope you find Demon very soon. Last edited: 2011-01-18 08:18:05 by Phoenix57

I have spoken to Grange about this latest information and also E-mailed him, this sounds very promising and I am hoping we will have some news on Demon very soon x
Grange
The police have been notified; I'm hoping they can get video from the Garden Center.

We are going door to door on Woodruff Rd tonight as well.
Grange
I received a call from someone today who recognized him on a poster at Tesco! He was seen last Thursday at Thetford Garden Center. He was being walked by an American woman who was telling a very suspicious story (to several people) about not being able to handle a dog because of a young baby. She was apparantly trying to sell Demon. She has not called back to the person who notified me. She said she lived on Woodruff road in Thetford. Demon had a very large scab on his nose; the woman said she struck him with a knife because he jumped on the kitchen counter.
Grange
Hello all~no more sightings of Demon. We got two calls from the police about dogs hit by a car but both were microchipped so neither was Demon.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate everybody posting info about Demon. I have sent public announcement ads in to local radio stations.

Grange
Hi everyone, thanks for the encouragement. We have 50 posters up in Thetford and Beck Row now. I am updating the details on the webpage too to show sightings.
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Bumped due to sighting today. Good news. Grange are there posters up in the area that Demon was seen? You need to get lots up in that area and possible post flyers through letterboxes so we get more sightings of Demon. hopefully he will be home very soon xxx
Grange
Demon was seen in Beck Row today between 1300 and 1400. A woman looked out her back window, and he was in her garden. She made a phone call to the council to report him, and he ran off again. My husband went out there looking, but no luck. We've alerted a few friends in the area who will also keep a look out. Maybe we'll get him back for Christmas. Thank you all for your help and support. We really appreciate it!

We will keep a look out for this lovely young dog and will obviously get in touch asap should he turn up with us. (We take all the dogs from the King's Lynn & West Norfolk Council dog pound.) I know we are quite a distance from Thetford, an hours drive by car, but he could easily get this far, going across country, I'm sure.

I pray he is found very very soon.

Posters have been placed in Thetford, and handed out to coworkers who live near RAF Mildenhall. We live very close to the A11 so I have emailed rescue centers in Norwich and some near London. I will drop off posters to the two service stations near us (North and South bound A11).

Thanks to everybody who has emailed. I know Huskies run, so trying not to lose hope.

Sorry to see that DEMON SIGHTED is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (26917)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
