- Spoken to owners and Sally was found not that far away from where she went missing. They are all just delighted and Sally will not be left with anyone else ever again - just in case! Safety and thinking ahead is a great thing, and nobody thinks anything like this will ever happen to their dog.It happens all the time, so -take great care. Just knowing the amount of dogs on this site that go missing every day says it all.
But - welcome home Sally, pretty girl, and stay safe now.x - 2010-11-30 10:54 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Good morning. Sally has been found and we are on our way now to collect her from Peebles. A wonderful lady was able to tempt her into her kitchen this morning and called us. I cannot describe how happy we all are! Thank you to all of you for your wonderful efforts. Our family is now complete again. Denise Stoddart on behalf of Mary and David Stoddart and family xx

- Have spoken to Sally's owner today and unfortunately it is a local holiday, where council offices are closed and DW not on duty, but tomorrow is another day, and hopefully some sightings will bring news of where Sally is. She was heading in the area of forestry so she will have shelter and food if she can catch a rabbit. Ranger in the area has been informed and Sally's owner has done all possible in letting everyone know in the area.

- We will appreciate any help as we cannot get to Peebles due to the roads/weather we have been over on sat & Sun but our car is now snowed in in Midlothian.
Thank you.

- We have just had a call to say Sally was seen at around 1045 Sunday morning at Peebles Hydro running along main road in the direction of Glentress. Please, please if you see her tell her you have biscuits and chewy sticks and ask her to sit for biscuit.

- You are welcome. I think owner said Sally is 14 months old not 18? Either way, she is still very young.

- Owl, thanks so much for the advice to Sally's owners. I know you are familiar with pointers, so your advice will be much appreciated.

- Sally ran off from her carer when on a walk with her dog training club. Have advised owner on scenting, and have suggested leafleting dog walkers along the river. Sally is shy of new people but loves to play with other dogs. She is very young, not much more than a pup. There has been a call on local radio. It was -7 last night in Peebles, so if you know of anyone living there who can help in any way, please put them in touch with owner. The search is being hampered by weather, as some people who helped yesterday are having problems getting into town today because of treacherous roads. Sally is wearing a collar tag with phone number.
