She seems to be a very dainty eater who can stretch her neck well to reach the food, but after a redesign of the foot plate in the trap and some food placed where it was all but impossible to reach her greed got the better of her ending her adventure!

Good morning All. Dory was caught late last night and is was now back safe and sound with her foster family. A huge thank you to everyone who helped to find her, particularly everyone in the local community who worked hard to look and report sightings etc.
Mallory'smum
That is the best news-well done to all involved. She looks a sweet little dog.

Dory is safely back with her foster parents who travelled a long way to catch her, softly softly approach late last night. I am sure they will update later, but must be very tired. Thank you to all who shared
Hollieberry
Thank you for the update I hope she stays safe until she is trapped x
Bo
Thanks for the update Nicole - always good to see the facts about what's happening rather the made up assumptions of the critics - hope she stays safe in the interim

Hi Mallorysmum and Hollyberry. I did ring and text and they did reply to all of my texts. She looks absolutely fine thankfully. She's enjoying the sun and the horses are keeping her company and I have my eye on her most of the time . Just wish I could get to her without her running off so I could give her a cuddle lol xx

Hi there, I am the person who's number is on the poster above. I did pass the information onto my contact who is currently in the area. Regarding no one turning up, when I received the text, there was and had been since 0600hrs this morning, a lady waiting by a trap at a point we know Dory had repeatedly gone to for food, the lady didnt leave until gone 10, when she had to go to work - we are all volunteers you see and have day jobs to go to. The same lady is heading back after work tonight to sit, painstakingly watching the trap waiting for Dory's arrival. In addition, I traveled 150 miles yesterday and spent the whole day in Tetney to try and coerce her, as she knew me as a fosterer. We appreciate the word spreading and everyone looking out for Dory and the help and information we have received has been overwhelming, and we really are doing our best to get her back, but the only option we have is trapping as she is so scared to come near any kind of contact.
Regarding organisation, I cannot comment, my views above are my own and I have a vested interest in Dory because she lived with me for two months, without incident so we came to the conclusion she was along the road to rehabilitation and ready for adoption.
Thank You.
Hollieberry
Mallory's mum I was just going to say the same thing but you beat me to it x

I have had Dory in my sight now for 3 hours. She is sunbathing in the field opposite Holton Road in Tetney . She keeps having a run around then going back to the exactly the same place. I text the above number at 9.30 and a lady was going to pass on the information. Sadly no one has turned up yet to try and get her. It just seems a shame that so many villagers are keeping their eyes open for her but now we have seen her no one is coming to get her.

I saw this dog this morning, it was running down Town Road, Tetney - Past the spar shop, and then down The Lanes. It was running fast but was in the middle of the road. 18/04/16 @ 07:10am.
