Lucy is indeed home safe and well. The finder posted on social media last night. Ashdown Leisure centre isn't that far away from where she went and is on her route home. Thank you everyone that have given up your time to help search for her.
Stay safe little lady x

Hi - I went out today for a look around Wallace Road and the surrounding byways. I saw the poster in Broadstone Recreation Ground and spotted another in Pocket Park - so hopefully the army of local dog walkers will be looking out for Lucy. I can see it is a difficult area to search as there is so much wild and inaccessible shrubbery around. Does she know the surrounding area at all from walks? Is there a direction she might aim for while looking for home? I will wander out again tomorrow. My heart goes out to you and to Lucy.

Are there any ponds or swimming pools and have they been thoroughly checked?

Would Jenny know of any tracking clubs/trainers in area?

I have contacted Lucy's owner who tells me she is not one givenn to wander. She often goes to work with her owner as she did today and he settled her in the garden of the property he was working at. At 10.40am he realised she has dissappeared , where he had only seen her 5 minutes previously.
Owners have postered the immediate area well and knocked on neighbouring houses. Wardens, police and local vets are all aware she is missing.
