Yes emmabellalandy, Murphy is a real beauty and I hope that will help someone recognise her after eight months of being missing. Can anyone looking out for Murphy remember that she a bitch. A bit confusing I know. I forget and keep referring to her a a male!!!

Vets emailed poster: Clent Hills Vet Group, Orchard Vet Centre, McGettigan's, Oaks Vet Centre, Manor Vets Centre, Acorn (Alvechurch and Studley branches). Are there any helpers around this area who could assist with postering other vets? It would be much appreciated. Thanks. Sue

Murphy is not tattooed although she is related to Hancocks breeding. She is not as big as a Greyhound BonBon, she's medium sized.

I will contact our kennels in Shrewsbury just on off chance (Charity - Shropshire and Borders Retired Greyhound Trust (they do take lurchers - and as Murphy is so distinctive he would be hard to miss). I hope she is found very soon. Keep on trying!!!!

Yes very distinctive. She was originally down as a Collie Cross and I was thinking sheepdog, so was a bit surprised when the photo arrived! Thanks Keelah for including her in Countrymans Weekly. And the E&S would be great Jazzi. I'm not sure if there has been much postering, contacting dog rescues etc since she initially went missing but I have explained to owner that he needs to do this regularly. If there are any helpers locally that could help poster I know that the owner would be very grateful.

As soon as admin receives a photograph, the poster can be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible. Lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins, vets, pet shops, ask postmen to take to sorting office, milkmen, bin men, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, all takeaway food shops, dog training clubs, supermarkets, car parks, and in car windows. Hand out smaller posters or cards to people, especially dog walkers and deliver to houses etc. Police stations, and Dog Wardens, R.S.P.C.A , and all rescue centres need checking frequently, and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Murphy well.
