- Where Lost Poppy slipped her lead after a vet check up on the evening of Monday 22nd February, outside McMurty and Harding vets in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Last seen running across the meadow close-by.

- Other Info Poppy is an extremely friendly but exceedingly nervous dog. She's 5 years old and slipped out of her collar, so won't be wearing one. She is chipped. If you see her please call us as soon as possible, as she won't approach strangers, and will probably run away. She is most likely to be found somewhere quiet, as loud noises scare her. Please approach her with care and don't call her loudly as it will startle her.

- Still not been found but have had two sightings of a springer spaniel in the local area. Have printed out posters, dog walkers have been notified, local businesses, as well as sharing the heck out the poster and posts on social media. Last edited: 2016-02-24 17:06:11 by beckytaylor28

- Sadly that is true of Dog wardens in some Counties they do not have the resources to go & look for a dog unless they have positive sightings
Please make sure you have plenty of posters up Far & Wide as possible, to get sightings
Go back to the area she was missing from and scent the area, something from her and you (doglost will send you info on what to do)Dogs do go back to where lost, as looking for Mum & can work their way back home.
I would describe her as a Springer Spaniel & also put that in the Breed & add that she has a Full tail
If not already contact Vets ,Chip co, Police 101, Farmers , Hunts, Network rail, Highways , Rescues, Dog walkers Etc & all bordering Dog Wardens, put Posters through doors

- Still not been found or sighted. Posters have been made up and placed around local area. Dog warden has been alerted by wont go out unless a sighting.
