This is just so sad. I hope her owners will be found so they will know what happened to her and will have closure. A big thank you to the caring dog warden and the vet who treated her and was with her when she passed away.

thankyou so much kind dog warden for doing so much for this little dog and thankyou so much to the vets who treated her regardless of no owner to pay the bill. its so sad that she didn't survive - but bless all those kind people

So very sorry to read this sad news. Do hope an owner will eventually be found so that they will have closure. Grateful thanks to the DW and vets who took such great care and kindness and was with such compassionate people when she passed away. RIP Angel xx

So sorry to read this. As she had suffered suffered severe head injuries probably a blesing that she hs gone to Rainbow Bridge. She was in the arms of a caring, and compassionate vet. Now she is in the arms of a loving Angel. Nightie, night, sweetheart, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge. RIP+ God Blessx A~~~Candle~~~burns for you. Run freex(HUG) Hope an owner claims for closure. If not perhaps we can give her a name as susieq666 suggested?

With great sorrow, I can now confirm that the little Terrier has lost her battle. She slipped away very peacefully in the arms of a devoted and compassionate veterinarian; in what proved to be one of the hardest farewells she has had for a very long time. My heart goes out to her at this terribly sad time. Run free, loveable little lady; you will never be forgotten...

how I wishs all dogs had id tags as wellas microchips - in this emergency situation the dogs identity is even more important. thank heavens this dogwarden is taking such good care of her.do hope it has a happy ending

Update from about an hour ago "Stratford DC Dog Warden She's being treated for a severe head injury and concussion. X-rays taken. Lots of pain relief administered. She's in brilliant hands. "

Following a RTC, a dog is currently fighting for her life at a local veterinary practice. A Terrier type (possibly Lakeland cross) with brown wiry hair has been hit by a van in the Shipston area of Warwickshire. She was transported immediately to the vets where she is being treated for a severe head injury. This gorgeous little girl is wearing a red collar with diamantés and is approximately a year old. No microchip detected. Please get in touch as a matter of urgency if she belongs to you..."
