UPDATE ON LEXI..she has soft tissue damage to rear hip which will clear up with rest so she should be ok, extra good news is that dottie is resting but feeling better and will work with doglost when needed

Lexi hit by car, has been collected by owner and taken to own vets, holding rear leg up and cut on nose but otherwise ok, getting her chipped, another one home to family

Good news. Have updated to reunited. Lexi is with her owner at the vets as she is injured. Thank you all for your help and support and to the people who were kind enough to ring and text me with advice. A big thank you from her owners too. Am eternally grateful xxx

Oh dear Dottie so sorry you've been injured. Hope you are OK. Ron told me of posting pets located . That definitely sounds like Lexi there can't be another gsd loose there else we would of heard. At least she will be getting food and treatment till her owners. Reclaim her.

Update. I had to stop with the poster billing as I've had a fall and smashed my face. I'm ok, just shaken. On site "pets located," there has been a black and ran GSD found along the Ridgeway this morning. She's been taken to Harmsworth memorial hospital as she is injured. They are now closed for the day and we can't get in touch. Owners will be going first thing tomorrow morning. The dog is not chipped, is female and young, so am hoping she has been found. Will post as soon as I know.

Have just talked to owners, they are doing posters today and calling vets etc, i told them to poster as wide an area as possible as a young dog can go miles, also to keep an eye on local golf course, also said to leave bedding or something she knows near spot she was lost, hopefully get some sightings soon

Just driven from M25 down Ridgeway to Botany Bay, no sightings. I know it's horrible to think of but someone may want to check the open railway crossing at the back of the golf course, exposed tracks and not too far away.
