- Other Info Today I went on two walks at Chapel Common, Rake, West Sussex and both times saw this poor dog, by itself l, visibly scared and running off every time a person or another dog came near it. I couldn't get close as it was scared. It had a collar on and my eyesight isn't great from that distance but I think it looked a bit like a wolf hound? Grey with wiry fur

- Just in case, a chap has just rung in to say that at 6.30 a.m. on his way to work he sighted a large hairy charcoal lurcher at Ampfield, Nr. Chandlers Ford. It hung around but not coming near and then trotted off. I have informed the owner of the other charcoal lurcher missing as well.

- Its difficult to tell from the photo but this looks to be a big dog my first thoughts were Wolfhound I just hope that its still not out there on its own poor thing .

- Could be Huckle, let's hope, looks very similar, and possible to have travelled that far in that time? Probably I think.

- Sorry if this has been said before as I am strapped for time, but I have been looking through the records for another dog we are about to take in, not this one, but came across a dog lost report in November. http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=94536#.Vq979bKLQdU

- I am not sure if the dog sighted is Harvey as it does not show any white plus its hair looks longer. Lets hope if not Harvey that the dog will be seen again and helped .

- csquaredb I'd say 25th as that was when it was posted and finder says sighted today. But who knows it could be getting braver if it's hungry and been lost for a while. I think this dog looks like lost/stolen ID 64835 (about 29 miles away ) who has deerhound in him, a fellow "dogloster" has tried to contact loser. We need Rachel to see what she thinks or another sightingLast edited: 2016-01-27 13:58:55 by Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
