"stray dogs arrive from 5 different local authorities in the north west.
St Helens, West Lancs , Leigh/Wigan, Salford and Bolton
On arrival, all strays are vaccinated, scanned to see if they are microchipped & photographed.
Each local authority has different reclaiming fees for dogs lost in their respective area.
All stray dogs are kept for 7 days when they come in to us.
After 7 days, if not reclaimed, the dogs are health checked by our on site Veterinary Surgeon with subsequent vaccinations if necessary. These dogs then become eligible for rehoming.

If you have lost a dog please see the gallery below to see if your dog has come in to us as a stray from your local dog warden. Strays dogs are listed with the area they were collected from by the dog warden and a reference number, e.g. St Helens area – 01234.

If you have lost your dog please contact us on 01942 671215 with your details & a description of your dog. We also advise that you visit us to have a look in the kennels to see if your dog has been brought in. We are open every day between 11.30am and 5.00pm to view the dogs in the kennels."

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
