- Sammie, I worked with Anne-Louise and many others from the rescue in the search for Tammy http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=94998#.VoqXx8CLRwE They are all experienced with traps and scenting and I can assure you they will be monitored 24/7. People from the rescue came from all over the country to man the traps for Tammy :)

- Anne-Louise has provided the trap with instructions. We'd never have thought about one otherwise. We arent hopeful that we will get any sightings of him because of the remoteness of the area. Have scented the area. Not on private land. We are taking advice from people far more knowledgeable than us.

- Ok, Anne-Louise can get hold of me if neccessary via the forum. But you should not be setting a trap before you have sightings, unless you man it 24/7 to release peoples cats or foxes etc. Generally you would scent first, get a sighting, leave food and or trap. So be cautious and no not put it on private land without permission.

- Thank you Sammie. Hazel who was Tika's fosterer and Anne-Louise who is MT NW co-ordinator have both been in touch which has helped immensely. We have just picked up a dog 'trap' to set up tomorrow. xx

- Someone may have picked him up and waiting to take him to a vets or phone the council on Monday.
Has anyone given you any advice? If not I can phone you, I am a Many Tears fosterer and also do a lot with mising dogs (and foster Beagles too!). - 2016-01-03 13:47 Huey10
- Just to say thank you for all the sharing. Am seeing Tika pop up all over fb. We have been out all day and again when it is dark yesterday and again today but have not spotted him. Posters are up and local people are aware. It is a difficult terrain so am hoping he will find his way back home. xx
