Photos of the lurchers are now added & the cream one doesnt look like this dog although they could have originally been together x

Thank you both, have already sent details to all areas dog wardens so will ask them to check once collected, do you know which council will collect lurchers? x

Lisa take a look at found ID96740, just what Wagtails said earlier about the Ridgeway.
DogLostLisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
We will only be able to confirm with more sightings so helpers are encouraged to raise awareness in both areas to increase the chances of sightings being reported, dog warden in new area has also been made aware x

Sonning roundabout, Caversham is just outside Reading and is quite some way from Chilton/Thame areas, and would have meant crossing the M40 somewhere, there would have been a lot of roads as well as countryside in between; but yes it is possible to travel that distance even though very hazardous.

The sightings have been quite vague but tonight a sighting of a white greyhound dog running towards Sonning roundabout on Henley Road, Caversham, Im not familiar with area but from google maps looks to be about 20/25 miles by road so feasible to be same dog x
LindaT
Lisa do you have any details of where this new sighting was?
wagtails
Sadly there are a lot of lurchers abandoned on the ridgeway / Oxfordshire / Berkshire border. Make sure the local dog warden is aware, some do have out of hour contracts, ring the Council and log on the emergency number.

Late reports have been received of a sighting in the new area late last night, we are looking for volunteers to help with a new feeding station, also the hunt have been contacted as it is understood there is to be a New Years Day meet x
DogLostMe N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
There are still good folk about. Thanks Lisa for updates lets hope this dog gets sighted again soon.
DogLostLisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
Sadly there are no new sightings, a lovely lady has today contacted the Police & local vets to check if they'd had reports but they havent although it was good to hear everyone was aware of the dog already, another lovely lady is organising posters in the area to raise awareness to increase the chances of sightings being reported, no food has been taken from the feeding station either, lets hope he or she found somewhere dry & warm to keep out of the bad weather yesterday x
Ellie
Could we not get Ray to catch this poor dog?
DogLostMe N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
Curly tail like a saluki sighter said, wonder if dog is a golden retriever. Charlie female stolen from MK44 in August looks to be right colour ID 90522. But do the ears look right.
Bo
Foxhound
BorderCol
English setter or spaniel cross perhaps, the face markings look a bit like orange
belton , roan or Merle but may be the picture.
Doglover
Hopefully he/she will go back to feeding station. Poor dog hope he is caught soon. X
DogLostLisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
HP18 is location of first reported sighting although since info was given that possibly sighted in Brill the day before, the sighter doesnt know dog breeds so isnt sure, he was shown a picture of a Saluki which he said was similar & had same curly tail, he has set up a feeding station & several offers of use of a humane trap have been made available, also a webcam has been set up at feeding station, the dog however was sighted further away from the original sighting last night, there are no further reported sightings since to be able to ascertain whether he or she has headed back to the feeding station which is preferable as he was near busy roads last night. All info has been emailed to local dog warden, although they are closed until next week x

I'd take a guess at lab type
DogLostMe N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
Does anybody have any idea what breed?
Doglover
Shereen. Thame and Chilton are in Oxfordshire so Postcode should be OX9 and OX11. Xx

Is it possible to put a trap with food inside away from busy roads? Perhaps someone would be kind e nough to let the trap be p;lac ed in their own garden? I wpould myself but alas I live in the Central region. Stay safe until you are caught. P aws xd.
LindaT
will get my hubby to look out, he passes through Thame and Long Crendon 3 times a week, I will keep an eye out when in Thame area. There are lots of fields between Chilton and Thame, also a business park outside Long Crendon but yes a lot of busy roads too. Hope this poor dog can be lured to the feeding station.
Observant Citizen
We won't give up on you little one. x
Shereen
