Thank you everyone for your support.. We are absolutely devastated, heart broken..

She actually went missing at 7pm lastnight and we were all out searching for hours late last night after hearing from our neighbours that she was hit by a car in our street. She run off up the street and we didn't know her where abouts until a women asked if someone had lost a Jack Russell from Taibach (lastnight on Facebook)..

The women said she was travelling on the M4 near our junction, everyone slammed their breaks on, but she ran to the otherside and thats where it happened..

It was only this morning when we contacted the council that we found out it was actually her..

RIP Poppy, our beautiful beloved dog.. X

Just wanted to thank everyone for helping. Thanks for sharing and your concern, but we have just found out that Poppy was knocked over on the motorway :-(

I can imagine how distraught you are about Poppy, and would be glad to help. Have you contacted local vets in case someone has taken her in to one - if not, let me know and I will be glad do this. Also, the council has departments responsible for dealing with dogs/animals, eg. RTA, lost, found, and I can make inquiries down these avenue as well, just let me know, will be glad to help. I'll also have a drive-search round your way, and the M4, later to see if I can spot her - after the car knock, was she running in the direction of Tanygroes street, or away from it (hope I have the right area).

Granddaughter opened door where Poppy run out.

She was seen by neighbours running up our Street (Conduit Place in Taibach, Port Talbot) after being knocked by a car (black BMW)...

The driver went to pick her up as he heard her yelp when she got hit, but she run up our Street (Conduit Place) towards the graveyard way.

Someone has come forward and said they seen a Jack Russell on the motorway and was knocked over and to contact the police as "they were called there".. We have contacted the police on numerous occasions, but to no avail. The police have told us "nothing has been reported"..

We refuse to stop searching until we know her whereabouts!

Please help us find her, we are frantic with worry and her mother knows shes not here...
