Direct link to check on Cheshire West & Chester dogs. These may not be all the dogs in the kennels and any queries should be made to the contact details on their site you will need to take the space after dogs/

Yes NickB not all Councils put found dogs online sadly they may not have the funds and resources. WELL DONE to the ones that do post found ones. Above is the link to the last share on fb I did for Cheshire West & Chester.

thankyou the wonderful people who do these group photos - brilliant idea. my council Cheshire west and chester council have photos of found dogs but Cheshire east council - like many councils - do not.

Its a great job you're doing. I check many NW sites to look for matches. I've spoken to some owners, particularly of Staffies, to ask them to look at strays. Staffies have such a hard time. Most owners are devastated when they lose their dogs and never stop looking. Others really aren't bothered and just get another dog.
The disposable society that we now live in should never have extended to animals.

I've been doing a group photo/s of MISSING NW dogs for a while and sharing, gets more dogs details covered in one go. Also been doing one for Cheshire FOUND dogs.

I think this is such a good idea to put the photos into groups, makes it much easier to compare them to Lost dog entries.

Thanks again Bo for taking the time to sort the photo/s out and put on each dog where they have been FOUND. Your help is greatly appreciated.

If all stray pounds put FOUND dogs on a site it would really help get more dogs REUNITED with their families.

I used to visit Liverpool RSPCA when they have the Stray Council contact to look for matches before AW's took over a lot of Councils which the RSPCA covered. They were always inundated with staffies and it is pitiful to see them in the kennels. :(
Bo
Nothing odd about these dogs - Leigh have the stray dog contract for 4 separate councils - staffies are the most common stray dog breed found in the North West and generally aren't claimed.
