Do think SDK and Hillingdon could have displayed some humanity here and contacted the adopter with the story. I know the law says they don't need to but this is 'computer says no' gone a little bit too far. If I was the person who had adopted Chocolate and I learnt the story I would want him to go home to his family.

Owner should contact www.doglaw.co.uk and consider making a request under the freedom of information act to hillingdon

I am the owner who has been on holiday for 4 weeks and have returned home terribly sick finding out chocolate had escaped from a friend who he was looked after by. Had no sympathy from SDK Hillingdon only to say that chocolate was rehomed on the 28th December 2015. Help help help i need help to be reunited with chocolate and will do absolutely anything to get him back!!!!!

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
