I'm not sure if Mabel is still missing , but pets located have a found black cat - found a few miles away and listed as female, but might be worth checking out:

As well as putting tuna in his dish, and calling him wipe his scent on all your garden fences (Inside, and out), and gates too. Also wipe his scent on things leading up to the house such as lamposts etc; your scent too, if you are the person who is fededing him Check to see if he has been locked in a shed or garage etc.
he may be trying to find his way back to his usual area , so poster there there if you can. Put "Lost" posters through doors, and ask around. Try this too; open a TIN of cat food with door wide open, as the sound of the opener , and smell of food may help bring him back. Put some of her bedding in a clean container, and place in a clean container. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
