love this happy ending but pls all dogowners everywhere

never never never leave your dog unattended - more and more and more dogs are vanishing

always always have up to date microchip details

and although a collar and id tag can be removed for decent people who aren't dog thieves it means we can phone the numbers on the collar and/or go to the address on the collar and reunite the dog

What a brilliant end to this story and well done to grandad for being so vigilant! I also agree with Jenny4, especially on the flogging. This is exactly what these scumbags need. I think they would certainly think twice before stealing someones beloved pet if this was the outcome.I would be first in the audience to cheer!!

No-one, absolutely no-one should leave their dog unattended anywhere in this day and age. There are so many scumbags out to make a quick buck that it's too late once they've struck! So glad this little dog is home but it's a lesson to all of us. Merry Xmas Bonnie. xxx

I agree with everything Jenny has said...The chap must be involved in a dog theft/selling ring..Hope the Police can make arrests!.. It's fantastic that Bonnie grandad spotted her on FB ..It must be the best Christmas present ever for her family..Best to stay with her when she goes in back garden from now on..Stay safe beautiful Bonnie and I love you jumper! x♥x

Good Evening Everyone :)
I got a phone call from my dad and he had seen pictures of a dog for sale on a selling page on Facebook, it wouldn't let me look as it was a private group, my dad sent me photos of Bonnie and just confirming with me that it was definitely her. We arranged with the seller to have a look at her, and I knew it was her straight away, I phoned the police and we went back to the house to pick her up. The man said he had bought her last week off a lady in Gomersal? She's home safe and sound, thank you to everyone for support and shares X

Have the Police been informed and issued a crime reference number?..We need to make her "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Hope she found very soon xx
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Bonnie, as we discussed when I spoke to you earlier please put as many posters up as you can and especially in the area this man was seen with a dog which may be Bonnie to make her TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Also try to get a story in your local papers.
You can print a poster from this page if you click on the ' view poster ' tab and then ' print '
Also keep checking with the dog warden and holding kennel in case she is dumped by whoever has her .
Hoping Bonnie is found very soon xLast edited: 2015-12-08 23:42:57 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Bonnie
Good Evening,
Had a call around 21.10 tonight, a young lad has seen Bonnie with a man in Heckmondwike near to where Bonnie had been picked up, he picked her up and ran very fast as soon as this lad had asked for a picture, this has shaken me very much, he is a white male, seen with a woman, black collar on and have taken her jumper off, Bonnie was pulling away from the man and barking at him, can tell she misses her mummy & I am going to put posters around Heckmondwike and Batley and Dewsbury and cleckheaton tomorrow! Please help x

Hi Bonnie , I have sent you a text x
Bonnie
Hi I'm the owner of Bonnie.
I've called everyone and done everything I can, thanks for everyone's ideas
She was let out in the back garden at 9.30pm Sunday 6th I got the date wrong because I was up past mid night, we always let her out in our garden for a wee before bed, she had her Christmas jumper on as shown in picture, 15 mins later I opened my back door and Bonnie had disappeared, I ran down the road and she was gone, a boy who was present told me 2 girls aged around 15 had her on a rope and was walking through Heckmondwike town center, we are certain she has been stolen. I'm doing everything I can to get my baby girl back home to mummy and papa xx
Jaycey
