Great. Welcome home lovely Alfie - stay very safe now xxx
DogLostReynard
Apparently "he just walked back in late last night and is now asleep " :) Paul/Alfie was a street dog so maybe he likes to check out his surroundings and is use to letting himself out & in!
This lad needs stability in his life and a GPS collar! :)
Stay safe now xLast edited: 2016-01-03 11:59:07 by Reynard

Aw Timmy's Mummy you sound wonderful maybe get in touch with the Kennels after Christmas ....it sounds like you would be perfect as his new owner.... let us know how you get on..... Come on Alfie just go home xxxx

Where has he gone missing from? It says 'He was being fostered in Leicester by http://www.labradorsinneed.co.uk/ which is LE5'?
Timmy's Mummy
I would love to give this dog a forever home. We live in the countryside with a secure garden. My Timmy-dog died in August (aged 17) he was a collie x runaway dog but within a few weeks he settled down and would then even sit in the lane with no intentions of running away. I have been looking for a dog for a few months and Alfie ticks all the boxes. I'm lonely for doggie in my life. x

Thank you Ravenette. Alfie had this behaviour before in fact 3 times that we know of now, 'staying close' and would come back at night when things were quite , do try Cooked Chicken to tempt him back as he loved it.
Please keep us updated and update the post code etc if you can ,thank you x

Reynard, there's nothing on LIN's Facebook page about him being missing, but they also have a closed group, so maybe it's mentioned in there. Poor boy if he is missing again :-(Last edited: 2015-12-24 15:52:30

Well done ladies!
DogLostReynard
Picked up trap and said hello to Paul/Alfie (took a Photo) ,he is Very skinny and so underweight, & a bigger/taller Dog than the photo suggests, he is a little sad (as does not enjoy Kennels) but loved the Treats & creauture comforts I brought for him ,he is sooo sweet & a friendly boy.The Trap scared him so if he does another bunk so I doubt he will go into a trap again , he is a Houdini will scale a fence & run through an open door,so whoever gives him that 'Forever home' should take care, but in time with lots of TLC he will probably stay put! Good luck boy xxx Last edited: 2015-12-22 15:47:32 by Reynard

He is caught Safe and Well. Reynard and myself went over yesterday and set a trap for him and he went in late last night.
BUBBLES
Alfie was caught last night as Reynard has already mentioned. This poor dog has been pasted from pillar to post. I hope this poor boy will soon find his perfect home.
