Thanks Lauraax. If you managed to reunite the dog you found with its owner and Jake has also been reunited, that's great news and this post is no longer required. Hope I've understood the situation correctly. Keep up the good work.

I'll explain again
I went onto another site to see if I could find the owner of the boy staff I found the other day and I came across a add that someone has found a white staff with cow markings (big black patches) and I had remembered that someone had mentioned a dog with the same description so I thought maybe this other person had found this dog and maybe didn't know about DogLost so was trying to help

Maybe it's the same one then sorry this website confuses me a bit I see a post from yesterday on another site showing a dog wi with cow markings so was hoping it was the same one

Jake ID 95226 was described as marked like a cow but he's been reunited, found in Mitcham.

There is another, Lucia 37697, described as having markings like cow. She was lost ages ago.
No shortage of black and white staffies lost.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
