I have spoken to the friend of owner & got a totally different story. It is not as clear as first thought & there is some suggestion that Jackies owner rehomed the dog to someone, who for some reason couldn't keep him & he was subsequently rehomed again to a farm. Have yet to speak to his owner again as they were having difficulty with the phone line, but it sounds like a civil dispute.

Apparently Jackie was being looked after for a couple of weeks while his owner was having housing difficulty. When she moved into her new house, she rang her friend who was minding him, to find out she had given him away. He has passed through several owners & is believed to be on a farm in Hayle somewhere. I have advised owner on action to take & I am hoping to have contact with person who gave him away.

Owner is going to inform the police to see if they can take any action. I understand owner has been emailed advice sheet.
Microchip details will be obtained tomorrow & chip company informed.
