Brilliant and very satisfying to read that Gucci is safe, well done to all involved and especially James and his wife for not over-reacting and just calmly letting Gucci remain safe until Bellarockafella arrived ... perfect. Hope that Gucci will have no health issues after her ordeal and her pads will soon recover :-)

MASSIVE thanks to James and his wife for finding Gucci and doing EXACTLY the right thing. They made sure that she was safely contained in the garden and then called the owners. When they couldn't get Donna they called Jayne at DogLost HQ, who also tried Donna, and then rang me. When I got to Gucci she was cold but had been left to remain calm which made the job of coaxing her to me a quiet, simple affair. Having built some trust (hooray for food) I was able to tempt her across the front of me and then put the whole tray of chicken down in front of her nose and, as she tucked in, gently take hold of her collar. A nice cuddle with her while James and his wife got the crate and then she was safely tucked up and ready to go home. Gucci is a bit sore on her pads and will be observed in case she needs vet treatment tonight but, otherwise, will be off to the vet for a check up in the morning.

Needless to say, Gucci's family are over the moon to have her back and extend their thanks to everyone that has helped to reunite them with Gucci. To DogLost and the wonderful people that share and cross post and to the fantastic Admin and members of LAFP Coventry for sharing, printing posters and putting them up and for searching all week for Gucci THANK YOU. It was wonderful to see her face change from frightened and stressed to relaxed and happy xxx

Gucci is now safely in a cage with chicken in the back of our co-ordinators car after being coaxed out by Bellarockerfella...well done to her and a special mention to lost and found pets Coventry....owner is yet to know...that will be a good surprise for them!

Gucci's owner has viewed the CCTV and has confirmed that the dog seen being walked is NOT Gucci.
Further information has evolved from this though. Gucci is, in fact, a "miniature" Shar Pei.

There has been a sighting of a dog that looked very similar to Gucci, walking with two people who were described as behaving oddly. Gucci's owner is going to check out the CCTV, at the shop that they walked past, first thing in the morning

Very brief update received from Gucci's owner stating that it was not Gucci that was hit by a car. Further information has been received from the lady that witnessed the RTA, who now believes that the dog was a staffy and that it was at approx 2.30pm in the afternoon, before Gucci got to that area. Hopes are that Gucci is well but we still need sightings of her to point us in the right direction. Please keep sharing

Reports in that Gucci was hit by a car on the Hollyfast lane by a lady in a white car who said she was taking Gucci to the vets...no wet seems to have been contacted so owners worried she may have left her in the area.

SORRY FOR THE DELAYED UPDATE. Advice sheets have now been sent although I have been in constant contact with Gucci's owners since she went missing this afternoon. Gucci was last seen at 5.40pm Monday evening by Royal Court heading away from Coventry town centre. She was heading towards Corley and into a rural area. Please keep sharing as we now need sightings to ascertain where she went from there.
