Sighted twice tonight. I will see if any family members can go to their house and take a scent for me. I was out searching until 23:30 he was barking for a while I could hear him but I could not find him. He was first seen late afternoon in the Croydon high school next to Selsdon Park Hotel then he was seen near Sainsbury and when chased he run into the main entrance of Selsdon Park Hotel off Addington Rd. I have recorded my house door bell and I play it when I am out searching. Please show up tomorrow little poppet it is time to go home. Stay safe

The entrance to Selsdon Park Hotel where we are meeting is in Old Farleigh Road (next to Croydon High School) I will be parking in Greystone Close opposite the entrance. There are other roads opposite the entrance that you can park in.

So can the poster be used as it is, or is the mobile number not right? Will try and put some up later but don't want to do it if the details are wrong.

Rocky is still missing. His owners will return on the 4th of August. I ve visited the area today and only saw a few posters. Posters were already coming down as sellotape has been used. So I ve advised to use pins on trees and to increase the number of posters to aim for bus stops sainsbury schools equestrian schools etc. Heavy rain is forecast for almost all next week so we need to ensure that once a poster goes up stays up. Rocky was sighted in Foxearth rd and then littleheath rd he was hit by a car before going to selsdon park. Several people tried to catch him but he would either run or bite. Last sighting is Tuesday at 10:00 at selsdon park hotel two hours after he went missing. Help on ground is required to put as many posters up as quickly as possible to get a new sighting. Old Farleigh rd kingswood way and Limpsfield rd urgently needs posters. Once rocky owner change the contact no on the posters we will start using this poster template (I texted him tonight). Could also the owner add in the text that rocky is very nervous and he should not be approached. I also advised The people who were looking after Rocky to contact the highway agency tomorrow to check if any dogs have been picked up in the area. I explained that dogs run throught pains when the adrenaline is running high. He might be bruised after been hit by the car and keeping low ground now. Please keep sharing Rocky is out there and he is scared. Last edited: 2015-07-24 06:26:51 by Monica - Area Volunteer, South London

Any news if Rocky has been picked up by Dog Warden?
AlisonH
Thank you Liberty Belle. They should be able to contact the owner as I managed to do by calling the number listed above.Last edited: 2015-07-23 11:34:28 by AlisonH

Have given Croydon Council Dog Lost details & Rocky's Dog ID number.
Liberty Belle
Have telephoned Croydon Council. Message being passed to Dog Warden to alert him to Rocky being lost & that there may be no response from his home.
Liberty Belle
Would Selsdon come under Croydon Dog Warden? Has anyone checked Dog Warden to see if found? Microchipped, but as owners are away there may not be a response from his home address. Dog Warden would need to be made aware of this.
