Yay! Very pleased they are both home safe & sound. Brilliant!
Thanks for reference to Norman, I will have a look now but I think we've worked out who's dog it is, a local lady with 2 beagles & one of them has gone walkabouts before. Someone is now going to owners house to find out. Was seen in the village last night too. I'll keep you posted.
Many thanks. x

Yes poppy has just turned up at the local pub so both are now safely back with owner.

I've just seen messages on Brighton Dogwatch page saying that both Toby and Poppy are home now. However, I will wait for confirmation before moving the page into the blue.
Just had it confirmed that Poppy turned up at the local pub! Thirsty work all this running around! Last edited: 2015-07-14 22:52:03 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Thanks Sam.B and Jenny & Tiga.
Very please to hear that Toby has been found and hopeful that Poppy will be home soon.
Sam.B Do you think the Beagle you saw could be Norman as mentioned?
He is fm your area, looks to have similar markings and has been missing since January. http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=80813#.VaV9IPnahL8
Would you contact Norman's owners to let them know where exactly you spotted the Beagle please? Last edited: 2015-07-14 22:28:03 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Just heard from owner that Toby has just been found and waiting on Poppy to show up.

Sam.B can you check missing beagle Norman 80813 please?

Thanks for posting Sam.B but very unlikely that the beagle you have been chasing is one missing here as the one in the bottom photo has been heard 'singing' in the woods while chasing deer not long ago. If you can post details on the found page then I will share on Team Beagle Lost & Found.

This is a long shot as i'm in East Anglia but i've been chasing a Beagle today on the beach who looked lost and nervous! No owner around and looks similar to the dog in bottom photo. I didn't get a close look as kept running off ahead. Sadly i could not catch him/her but he went up on top of dunes into a field and then got a scent and looked like he was following it, i thought maybe he knew his way home. Then i came on here and the first post i see is this one. Thought its worth a mention but probably unlikely as so far away.
I do hope you find your 2 beauties, best of luck!
