Received a lovely update email from Claudia who found this lad to put our minds at rest about the other dog
Firstly she thanks everyone who has helped get the word out.
Luckily the owners are local and go to the same vets and they were their having their other flatcoat treated when she called. He had not got a tag. She is not badly hurt although her foot has been knocked about possibly by a car accident. The two flatcoats had chased a fox by the river. Apparently Claudias boy dog enjoyed the flatcoats sleepover and now they are going to get some rest!

Not sure csquaredb I presume a flatcoat - finder said "His sister is injured unfortunately. Glad we got to keep the boy safe overnight!"
As the other dog wasn't registered on DogLost I didn't feel appropriate to ask for more info.

Very pleased to move this gorgeous boy into blue. Thank you so much finder for keeping him safe overnight. I sincerely hope the female dog with him is not too seriously injured
