From the owner: Thank YOU for alerting people. 5 of my neighbours and I went out again around 4.0 p.m, although I
had done the same routes thru the woods, but suddenly one of them went 'off track' quite randomly and
found Splodge some 20 yds. in, sitting next to the dead hare she had chased at 11.20 - it was dead but
no sign of injuries to it, or Splodge. She had been there for 5 hours!! I almost cried with relief as she
is such a beloved dog, and very adorable., as you can see from her photograph!
So all well, and thank you for your help - I spoke to somebody on the phone this evening after we'd
found her, and she was very kind and relieved too!
Many thanks again,
Gino
