Also, special thanks to the lady who saw Cassie being stolen and had the sense to take the reg no of the van and post on Facebook what she'd just seen. Without you, who knows if we'd have got her back. Thank you sincerely.

To everyone else who has helped us look for her and sent messages of support, you are brilliant.

Massive thanks to the wonderful lady who noticed 2 x 'smackheads' ill-treating a little dog and intervened by offering them £20 for the dog. She then took the dog to the vets where she was scanned and identified as Cassie!

People like this genuinely are one in a million, and have restored my faith in the goodness of human nature.

I can't thank this person enough.

Everyone on social networking has been FANTASTIC. Thank you all, so much.

I'm 5 mins from Newland Ave - shared on my page! Maybe worth going to look at the White vans that are now parked up on Costello field - could be travellers and this is where they are at the moment, near Anlaby Park rd North opposite Sirius Academy ( I not saying all travellers/ gypsies are dog thief's but they have a fair few terriers and if they saw her wandering may have picked her up) Will ask My friends to share all over Hull X

I'm sure you have already but but tell the chip company, local vets etc, and poster far and wide in case tthe scumbags dump her. You might want to consider www.thepetdetectives.com.

Cassie is not lost, but stolen. Last seen being put into white van (possibly Ford Transit) at around 12:30pm today, on Goddard Ave (off Newland Ave) in Hull.

Do you recognise the partial reg no of this white van?

This is a comment left on Poppy's page id 85639 lost in HU4.

Not wanting to worry you but there are some travellers on the Boothferry Road playing fields on St Thomas More school. Just wanted to cover all avenues.

Cassie is a much loved family member and we are distraught. Please, if anyone saw her being taken, or recognises the partial vehicle registration number of the vehicle she was put into EN53--J (white van, possibly Ford Transit), please get in touch with me or with Humberside Police.

We are extremely worried about her. Please help us to get her back home.
