Marnie was caught late this afternoon by Lauren's Mum - I have just seen photos of Marnie and Lauren's little daughter re-united. I am afraid that they brought tears of joy to my eyes. A very happy family would like to thank everybody who helped in any small way to get her home. RE-UNITED ANOTHER GREAT RESULT , CAN SHE PLEASE GO OVER TO THE BLUE.

Thanks sheltielover for the update. Everything's crossed for an early reunion. Have shared on F/Book.

There should be plenty of water in the streams. Looking at the area maps.

Spoke to Lauren today and she has updated the page - there have been quite a few sightings - last sighting was Doddington, lots of posters out especially in areas for dog walkers, ramblers, bike trail riders - around the hills etc. They are working very hard and just hope she is home soon.
DogLostShelties Mum - Area Volunteer, Kent
Yes we need an update. That's the only way you can be helped to find her. Not sure what the weather is like there, but in Kent it's in the 70s today and my lot are zonked out even though I carry water bottles and if similar she's going to need water unless the woodland chestnut trees have some.

Any further sightings of Marnie - can we have an update please. Have K9 search been back, is she taking any food or has she gone into survival mode and retreated to the fields and woods where she can catch her own food. Have all farmers and game keepers been informed. Are posters out.

Shelties often go back to where they went missing from and sounds like she's doing just that. Scenting would be a good idea as mentioned earlier and yes always softly, softly catchign a sheltie. Fingers crossed she's nearly home.

Any news or new sightings of Marnie please.

There is a lot of open fields around the area. Patience and understanding of how a sheltie behaves when lost is very important. Nobody should shout or chase this little girl. If she is seen turn away from her - sit down quietly and she may come to you. Put on the bottom of the poster - DO NOT SHOUT OR CHASE, TURN AWAY AND RING NUMBER ON POSTER.

Hope Marnie is found soon, owners can try scenting back to home.
