Well it took a while, but I am now this little one's (not quite so little now!)legal owner. Just received the letter today. We are delighted and will be getting him chipped etc next week. Then, of course, registered on doglost.

Have spoken to Joe, DW, and all being well, I should be able to give this bundle of fun his forever home soon. Will update when I know.

This boy is still with me, with no owner found for almost 6 weeks! As I said, I am more than happy to give him a forever home. However, I am still waiting for the dog warden to return my 3 calls as I understand some paperwork is required to be completed. Ive recently noticed other found dogs remain unclaimed, including a female staffy in NW2. Will post once I get a call from DW.

No - no one has come forward at all. I have been in regular contact with Battersea Dogs Home, and the Dog Warden, as well as having postered in the area he was found and spoken to other dog owners. Last week, Battersea said they were checking with someone who had previously reported a possible similar dog but they later said he was not a match. I have spoken on the phone to 3 separate Dog Wardens in Barnet who tell me no one has reported a similar dog missing - I gave them the Dog Lost ID so they could print off a poster. I don't understand why no owner has come forward. He is delightful though still young and boisterous) but seems very happy with us, friendly to other humans and dogs alike - although not so friendly with cats that may come into the garden! The Warden said to keep in touch with them which I am doing, and I have said we would like to keep him if no owner comes forward (he is not chipped) and he told me about the "28 day rule". I think he would have been miserable (the dog, that is) if he had gone to a pound. It's funny coz we were almost at the point of going to look for a rescue dog since we lost our pixie, so perhaps it was meant to be. Will post as and when I have any news. Thanks for asking about him.

Has this gorgeous boy been reunited please

Thank you for looking after this gorgeous boy. He is so lucky to be in a home enviroment rather than a ken

No owner has come forward yet, and the dog is still with me. Dog Warden is aware, visit to the vet confirmed no chip. Registered with Battersea and Medivet, Hendon who have a poster and said they would inform their other branches around the area. I have postered and checked other missing dog sites. I will check in again with Dog Warden.
