- I hate this site (not really) but I cry when I read Lost Dogs, I cry when I read Found and Reunited. Worse though I torture myself reading Rainbow Bridge - then I have hysterics.
I'm so glad Archer is home safe and well. I can stop walking about calling his name. xxxxx Thanks to all who are so amazing on this site. - 2015-04-02 21:01 Barney and Ella's mum

- Thank you Hdub for the information about the black Lurcher taken in by the Poole warden. Having checked the black dog mentioned appears to be the Black and Tan Lurcher which to date remains unclaimed and is registered here on Doglost under dog ID 84879. - The Romsey, Test valley dog is not Archer. Archer's owner went to see him to rule him out this morning.
Thanks for everyone's input. Wishing Archer home asap. - 2015-03-31 18:50 Hdub
- Response to my share on FB.." My friend who works at Poole Council just advertised the pound has had a black lurcher brought in, Here are contact detailsPlease call the duty dog warden on 01202 261700 (daytime) or 0800 506050 (evening) with yours or the owners' details so it can be returned home" Everything crossed it is Archer.

- Is the photo definitely of the dog - echo has posted lurcher found other side of town though but it doesn't have the white front - see Twitter @BoroughofPoole or Bournemouth Echo
This lurcher was found in Turbary Road on Monday. - 2015-03-31 16:01 LazyFastDog
- Walked from tea rooms up to & around Wick fields & back. The owner has done a great job of postering the area & many regulars are aware of Archer as are the cafe & boat hire people. The man who owned the boat hire company has promised to keep his eyes open as he is there everyday. He thinks it unlikely that Archer has followed the river as there is no way to follow the bank under Iford Bridge. The only way would be for him to go up to & across the road by the pubs. - Will walk Iford/Tuckton playing fields lunchtime as that's en route to his home. Bit too close to railway line! Please let him be safe. Have emailed dog walkers who regularly pick up in Southbourne area

- General email advice has been sent this evening. Local and surrounding wardens are aware that Archer is missing, as is the microchip company. Postering has commenced and his owners and local helpers have been out searching. Thank you to those of you helping.

- Are there any Travellers sites in that area? I know there is one at Christchurch....... maybe the Dog Warden could go and ask if they have ''seen him''?
- 2015-03-30 13:22 LazyFastDog
- Have been searching the head this morning no sightings. Sadly Archer is still missing but it seems he has headed away from HH as he was last seen in Tuckton. He may possibly be trying to make his way home to just off of Barrack Rd. Xchurch.
Admin it all seems that he has been registered twice, to avoid confusion could one of the posts be removed? - 2015-03-30 12:53 AlisonH
