- Marks & Scars Sadly we were unable to take the dog as too badly decomposed. This road comes under the jurisdiction of the council and a report has been made to them. Hopefully someone can retrieve soon.

- Where Found S21 3US. Sadly deceased in a ditch at the side of a layby. A6135 Sheffield Road just before Westfield Lane. The poor dog had been there quite a while and sadly we were unable to determine the sex. R

- very sad,, but is anyone able to loan a scanner!! and check for a chip??.. not a pleasant job but it could bring closure to a careing owner.. please try, or check that the council scan when they remove the body.. which they are obliged to remove and store for 7 clear days..because IN LAW a dog is classed as PROPERTY. they have the same cover as a living stray.. i know i would want to know GOOD or BAD news.

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
