Hello my name is Karyn and I hope you don't mind me messaging. We bought rusty when he was 8 weeks old from a farm in Carmarthen and brought him up for 5 years. Unfortunately we had to re home him as our son was getting ill all the time. It was the hardest decision of our life! I kept in touch with Leanne who had him but last time we talked she said she also had to re home him. It's so nice to see he's finally settled and looks very happy with you and I'm so glad of that. He's such an intelligent boy isn't he? He used to open the front door and run down my mother in laws :) ok must dash, it would be amazing if you could write back, my email is sonor360@icloud.com but totally understand if you don't. Take care Karyn

Big thank you Harboa for your visit to my home to bring lovely flowers and a thank you card. So pleased Rusty, if still a little nervous, is doing well

Can't thank Ellie enough for all her help and support in finding Rusty. I would recommend Doglost website and services to anyone. Rusty is happily settled and pleased to be home. In addition, it has been a wonderful demonstration of community spirit over 3 difficult days in willing and delivering Rusty home. Thanks to everyone involved.

Great news!

I was over the moon to receive Alison's message that Rusty turned up safe and well at 5.30 am this morning barking at the door!
Where he had been since he disappeared on his walk at 5pm on Wednesday remains a mystery but the main thing is that he is home. I am so pleased Alison worked so hard and followed all advice.
Welcome home Rusty! Last edited: 2015-03-01 09:58:58 by Ellie

Spoken with owner, given more general advice
Have searched fields with my own dogs (Rusty will approach others) near Kimcote Church but saw nothing. Spoke to 3 gentlemen tending grounds at the Hall, one of whom already aware, and they said they would keep an eye open.
Also notified our friends who farm in the area to keep a lookout.
