Don't think the finder is the lister, looks like someone's taken the details from Facebook but I can't find the details on the Facebook page for lost and found dogs in that area

You should ask anyone coming along for proof of ownership and 2 forms of ID of that person! If you are in any doubt, then maybe involve your local Dog Warden. Have you taken this dog to a vet to see if it has been chipped by any chance? Also, is this dog entire?

Tried to find this post on Facebook to warn the finder about handing the dog over to anyone who claims it in view of what happened to the spaniel recently but can't find the post and have gone back to Jan 10th. Could Alison find it again and put something on the thread maybe? x

Aww bless him, have you taken to vet to see if he is m/chipped? May have been picked up from street and then decided he didnt want him!! Thank you for listing him on here just incase someone is missing him x

I have emailed these details to a relative who will have contacts with the Labradoodle rally clubs and asked them to forward to everyone they know. Very honest of the person who now has the dog, who I hope will recover from whatever ill health he is suffering from.

Thank you so much for asking on here if this dog is lost or stolen. He doesn't match any of the doodles that I am following, but that is not to say he isn't missing. Whatever the outcome, at least we know that he will have a much brighter future now. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
